After teasing fans with a poster, the makers of Ek Ladki
Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga have dropped the teaser of the film. The film, which
stars- Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla, depicts 1942’s
love story with a twist. The one-minute-sixteen-second teaser starts with Ek
Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga song from Anil Kapoor's 1942: A Love Story (1994)
then changes from a simple love story to siyaapa love story. Sonam is then
seen explaining that a love story will always have complications. She says,
“True love ke raaste mein, koi naa koi siyaapa hota hi hota hai. Agar naa ho...

Few hours back, the makers of the film revealed the
poster of the film that shows Sonam Kapoor’s infectious smile in yellow suit.

Well, this is the first time that Sonam and dad Anil will
be sharing screen space. Another attraction is that the song Ek Ladki Ko Dekha
Toh Aisa Laga, from the film 1942: A Love Story, has been recreated as well.
A few weeks back, while speaking to a leading daily,
debut director, Shelly Chopra Dhar had said, “Yes, we are recreating the
original and we want to replicate its iconic status. It's hard to beat the
original so I will be happy if we are at par with it. However, we'll have to
wait and see who sings the new version and for whom in the film."
